ਓਹਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਤਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਲੈ ਆਉਂਦਾ,
Ohda naam taazgi le aunda
His name brings a refreshing breeze

ਓਹਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ।
Ohda zikar Khushi naal bhar dinda
Mentioning Him fills one with joy

ਇਕ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਾਮਿਲ ਮੁਰਸ਼ਦ ਦਾ,
Ik darshan kamil murshad da
A perfect glimpse of the guide

ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਮਿਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ,
Kafir nu momin kar dinda
Turns even a skeptic into a believer

ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਚ ਬੀਤ ਰਹੀ,
Jo us de hukam ch beet rahi
Whoever lives by His command

ਓਹ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੈ।
O har ik shaam muqammal hai
Every evening becomes complete

ਕਾਇਨਾਤ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ,
Kainaat adhoori ho sakdi
The universe may be incomplete

ਪਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੈ।
Par Nanak Naam Muqammal Hai
But the name of Nanak is complete

ਦੁਨੀਆਦਾਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੈ,
Duniadaari vich Chinta Hai
In the worldly life, there is worry

ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਮੀ ਰੌਲੇ ਨੇ,
Dunia vich Dharmi raule ne
In the world, religious noise exists

ਓਹ ਇਕ ਓਂਕਾਰ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
O Ik Onkaar ucharda hai
He proclaims "One Creator"

ਤੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਮਨ ਹੌਲੇ ਨੇ।
Te ho jaande mann haule ne
And the mind becomes calm

ਓਹਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਜੋ,
Ohnu simar simar ke milda jo
Whoever remembers Him, finds peace

ਓਹੀ ਅਰਾਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੈ।
Ohi araam Muqammal hai
That peace is complete

ਕਾਇਨਾਤ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ,
Kainaat adhoori ho sakdi
The universe may be incomplete

ਪਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੈ।
Par Nanak Naam Muqammal Hai
But the name of Nanak is complete

ਜਦ ਕਾਰਜ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਂ ਦੇ,
Jad karaj hunde shukraan de
When works are fulfilled in gratitude

ਜਦ ਬਰਕਤ ਲੱਗਜੇ ਖੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ,
Jad barkat lagje khairaan nu
When blessings fall upon fortunes

ਅਗਾਜ਼ ਕੋਈ ਨਵਿਆ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦਾ,
Agaaz koyi naveyaan raahan da
The beginning of new paths

ਜਦ ਜਾਣਨ ਲੱਗਜੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ,
Jad jaanan lagje pairaan nu
When one’s feet begin the journey

ਓਥੇ ਹੋਂਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੋ ਚਿੱਤੀ ਦੀ
Othey hond nahi do chitti di
There’s no double-mindedness there

ਬੇ-ਸ਼ੱਕ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੈ।
Beshak anjaam muqammal hai
Surely, the outcome is complete
